Hello! I am Valery Zhukova, a graphic designer and creative director. From branding and marketing materials to social media graphics, presentations, packaging, and web assets, I create thoughtful, polished designs tailored to your goals. Whether you need a one-time project or ongoing creative support, I deliver high-quality visuals that help your business stand out and communicate effectively. I currently primarily work freelance through my company, Hypothetical Media.
Fun Facts:
I am a Los Angeles native; my family comes from the former Soviet Union, specifically Ukraine. I am fluent in Russian and English, and have elementary proficiency in French. My favorite color is red.
Past Work:
In the past, I was the Lead Graphic Designer at ELEMENTS as well as the Creative Director for USC Public Diplomacy Magazine. I have worked as a freelance graphic designer for multiple companies and start-ups. I have experience designing posters, illustrations, logos, business cards, 3D printed sculptures, websites, emails, and publication covers, as well as other types of advertising and promotional materials. If there's a design field you can think of, I probably have experience in it!
Educational Experience:
I am a graduate of USC Roski School of Art and Design, where I earned a BA in Art with a focus on graphic design, summa cum laude.
